Hi! I’m Stephanie!

Food allergy mama to a sweet red-headed 4 year old who has a love for all things lego and dinosaurs. Some days I feel like a newbie, and other days I feel like a pro. It was the shock of a lifetime when I found both my personal and professional worlds colliding after we found out our son had multiple food allergies. Curious about our story from the early days of his diagnosis? You can read all about our story here.

Before I earned the title of mama, I was a Registered Dietitian who worked as a school nutrition director and later as a nutrition advisor for a national non-profit helping schools and after-school programs offer healthier snacks and meals. I taught others how to keep environments food allergy safe and then suddenly with a 7 month old I had to practice what I preached and do the same in our everyday life! It was a reality check.

I understand what it is like to be overwhelmed with the day-to-day responsibilities of work, home and family, nevermind figuring out how to manage life-threatening food allergies amongst the chaos of everyday life.

Here I hope to share our story and what has worked for us to help take one less thing off your already-weary mind and help make life a little bit easier.
